In terms of quality, Wusthof knives are just a hair shy of being best available. What keeps them from the top? They’re sharpness doesn’t quiet compare with Henckels, aren’t display worthy as Victorinox, and aren’t as busy mom friendly as Chicago Cutlery. That’s not to say they’re bad knives, they’re just not number one in any given category. Number two across the board isn’t shabby and Wusthof does make an affordable, versatile knife. You can use it for anything in the kitchen and come at a reasonable price.
